Southside’s flagship community ministry: a service to our neighbors in need of fresh and healthy groceries. The food comes from Jesus, we just give it away!

Saturday | 11am-12pm
We serve all people without requiring any documentation. You will be asked a few simple demographic questions. Food distribution is first-come-first-served.
Ways to Serve
The food bank is a valuable service to our community and a powerful way to show God's love. There is a place for everyone to serve at the Food Pantry, and times to serve every day of the week.
SATURDAYS
Our biggest distribution day, and the day we need the most volunteers to make it happen. We serve around 300 families each week. There are a variety of jobs, and there is a place for everyone who has a heart to serve.
MIDWEEK
There is a lot of work that happens at the food pantry during the week: receiving and processing donations, sorting food, cleaning up, etc. If you’re interested in serving midweek, contact Nicolle Caballero at NicolleC@southsidespokane.org
GROCERY RESCUE
The majority of our food comes from local grocery stores, and we always need willing and capable volunteers to help pick it up. You must have a car that can carry a big load and be able to lift heavy boxes. To help out, contact Nicolle Caballero at NicolleC@southsidespokane.org
