The Care and Support teams exist to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of Southside Christian Church attendees in a variety of life circumstances. While a member of the staff is available when necessary, we believe that an authentic church community should strive to meet individual needs through established relationships, such as those found in various small groups, support groups and friendships. When additional care is required, the following services are available.
When illness and injury strike, we are affected emotionally and spiritually. Teams of trained, caring members are available to visit for prayer and encouragement if you, or someone you know, is hospitalized. If you need to schedule a hospital visit, please click here to send us a message. If it is urgent please call the church office.
Assistance is available if you attend Southside Christian Church and are homebound due to an extended illness or are in recovery from a recent hospital stay. If you need assistance, please send us a message or call the church office.
Prayer teams are available to pray for you every Wednesday morning by appointment. Prayer teams are also available after each worship service outside the Auditorium. If you need us to pray over for you or for someone else, please click here to send us a message or call the church office.
Southside’s Pastoral Assistance Fund assists church members or regular attendees who are experiencing financial hardship. Fund distribution is made on a case by case basis pending a pastoral consultation. If you need financial assistance, please send us a message. If it is urgent please call the church office.
We are only able to accommodate weddings at our facilities for members and regular attendees of six months or more. Please plan in advance due to programming restrictions placed on building use. Send us a message or call the church office for a planning book that clarifies our procedures and expenses.
If you are a regular Southside Christian Church attendee who has experienced the loss of a family member and want a Southside pastor to conduct memorial services, please send us a message or call us to make arrangements.
