Any movie in which the hero overcomes great odds and comes out victorious: Remember the Titans; The Greatest Game Ever Played; The Bridge over River Kwai; The Great Escape.
What he brings to Southside:
Shepherds staff and elders, oversees administration of the church, passion for ALPHA courses, team building leader, teaches classes, perseverance, dependence on God.
The Pre-Southside years:
Talk about a transformation! Pastor George spent 20 years in the U.S. Air Force as a navigator/bombardier on a B-52. He then taught 5th Grade at Riverside Elementary School before being ordained as a pastor in 1999.
Family Matters:
Wife Donna; two grown children, Brian and Keri, and one granddaughter, Kennedy.
