What he brings to Southside:
A love for God’s Word and a passion to teach and preach it; rich experience as a pastor; a caring heart for hurting people; a passion for prayer and a desire to see Southside become a mission-hearted church!
The Pre-Southside years:
Graduated in 1975 from Whitworth College and in 1978 from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California; served in churches in Tacoma (6 years), Richland (8 years) before coming to Spokane in 1993 (Manito Presbyterian and now Southside).
Favorites:
The Seahawks, the Zags, the Sonics and the Mariners! Anything by C.S. Lewis; the Lord of the Rings; good science fiction and fantasy novels; a killer home theater or stereo system; Star Trek (every series!); backpacking with my daughter and taking pictures of the North Cascades and the Olympic Coast.
What he cherishes:
Betty, my wife of 30 years; my two daughters who love the Lord: Laura, living and teaching in Las Vegas and Sara, serving in mission in Germany.
